NPBA Foal Enrollment
Requirements
A foal may be nominated to the program at the age of weanling up to a coming 3-year old.
The foal owner must be a NPBA member in good standing at time of nomination.
A foal nominator must be the registered owner at time of nomination. Ownership changes must be submitted to the NPBA office within 30 days.
A copy of the foal’s registration papers must be submitted with the nomination form.
Only foals of an enrolled stallion in good standing may be nominated to the NPBA Futurity & Incentive Fund.
Foal Payment Schedule
2026 Season Payment Deadline:
Mail-In March 15th, 2026
Online April 1st, 2026
Total Foal Nomination Fee – $400
(Foals turn another year January 1st)
- Weanling – $100
- Yearling – $100
- 2 Year Old – $100
- 3 Year Old – $100
- Change of Ownership – $20
- Late Fee – $50
Any Aged Foal
Wanting to enroll your Aged Foal in the NPBA Futurity to be eligible for the Open NPBA Futurity Side Pots?
$400 Total Enrollment is due for foals by NPBA Stallions that are “aged out” of the Futurity years (4-5 years old).
