NPBA Foal Enrollment
Foal Enrollment and Requirements
A stallion’s progeny may be nominated to the program if it was born in a year that the stallion was enrolled. A foal may be nominated to the program at the age of weanling up to a coming 3-year old through the payment system.
The foal owner must be a NPBA member in good standing at time of nomination.
A foal nominator must be the registered owner at time of nomination. Ownership changes must be submitted to the NPBA office within 30 days.
A copy of the foal’s registration papers must be submitted with the nomination form.
Progeny of Stallions new to the program can be grandfathered in regardless of age the first year of the New Stallions enrollment by paying the total foal fee up to its current age. This must be done by the announced deadline of the stallion’s initial enrollment year to avoid late fees. ie: New Stallion enrolls. 3 YO progeny to enroll must pay $400 to be eligible prior to deadline. Otherwise beginning in 2027 it it would incur a $50 per year late fee to catch up = $600. Open horses may join for the $400 if no longer eligible for the futurity and $450 after the deadline.
